Effects of Modified Pilates on Incontinence Severity and Quality of Life in Females with Urinary Incontinence

Background: Urinary Incontinence is a state in which an individual unable to control urine and may leak it out without reaching the toilet. The urgency of becomes such patients. Aim: To determine effects modified Pilates on incontinence severity quality life females with urinary incontinence. Study Design: Randomized Controlled Trial. Methodology: Patients (n=50) were analyzed. Group A received along standard physical therapy while group B exercises only. Baseline treatment that was (pelvic floor muscle training, home plan style advice) given both groups. Outcome measures calculated by Symptom Severity Index Quality Life questionnaire. Results: mean value Symptoms score before intervention 21.04 more than 16.04, obtained after treatment. This less post (standard only). between groups has massive difference P <0.05.
